Today's Inflation : Global Context and Local Solutions |
 GDLN Asia Pacific proudly present An Inter-Regional Knowledge Sharing Series on Today’s Inflation : Global Context and Local Solutions, with support from The World Bank and the International Monetery Fund on Friday, 6th of June 2008.
This distance learning seminar presented 3 keynotes speakers, they are Hans Timmer - Manager of Development Prospects Group of World Bank, Romuald Semblat - Senior Economist of International Monetery Fund, and Ignacio Igal Magendzo W - Central Bank of Chile Adviser. This series was chaired by Stanley Grant, Senior Communication Officer of the World Bank.
Having listened to 30-minutes presentation from each keynote speakers, participants from 8 countries, include Indonesia (Jakarta and Denpasar sites), Timor Leste, PNG, Thailand, Fiji, Mongolia, Japan and the World Bank headquarter in Washington DC; were given oppurtunities contributing to the event through question and answer sessions.
